Happy Veterans Day!
For those in our generation, it's easy to overlook Veterans Day. It's on a Tuesday, and the celebrations are, sadly, mostly limited to the VFW posts and Elks lodges of the world. We're not saying it's right, we're just saying...
If you can make it to one of the small-town ceremonies or parades today, do it. If not that, buy one of those little plastic poppies from the vets selling them outside grocery stores, and hang it from your rear-view mirror.
