“I’m a sucker for acoustic guitar, so I listen to a lot of our home-grown Sheryl Crow. Old school brings me to Barry White. (I’ve often tried to imitate his voice around my wife, but it just doesn’t seem to have the same effect as his music.) And let’s not forget I was raised in the south and engulfed in country music. To this day I can remember working on the ranch and listening to WBAP out of Fort Worth/Dallas on my AM radio.
