Drink: The Beer Tower
Home: Applebee's
What time is it? Beer thirty! It’s just an expression, but this tower of hoppy goodness will take until then to finish if you’re even big enough to order it.
What’s in it: We filled our tower with Bud’s newest brew, American Ale, but you can choose your favorite beer on tap to fill your tower.
What it looks like: It’s a tall plastic tower 120 ounces (2.5 pitchers) tall. The bartenders accommodated by putting ice in and around the tower, so the beer stayed cold throughout. The tower even has a spout to make the perfect pour. One accessory needed: platform drinking shoes.
What it tastes like: Whatever you order. The star here is the delivery, not the content.
How much it costs: $10–$15 for domestic beers on tap.
