Snowfest w/ Justin Guarini

Normally we wouldn’t devote a ton of ink to Snowfest. It is, after all, an occasion for the kiddies to slide down piles of fake snow while parents chill out at Jordan Valley Park. It’s a fun, free event, to be sure, but not the usual GO material. But this year, the entertainment makes Snowfest relevant—at least in a retro kinda way.

Justin Guarini is the Adam of American Idol runners-up, begetting later final-episode losers like Clay Aiken, Katherine McPhee, Bo Bice and… uh… we can’t remember any others. But Guarini is still a name, and he’s still got the fro, and he’s going to be at Jordan Valley Park on June 21, starting at 7 p.m. Get out there and enjoy the free show. And remember: If it gets too hot for you, you can always dunk your head in a pile of snow.
