What's Next

2008 is quite the big deal: It’s a presidential election year, Olympics year, leap year… at least there’ll be plenty to write about! To kick it off in style, we
present our editor’s picks—looking back, and looking forward.

New Restaurant: The Grotto
Even with an expanded Ocean Zen and the beautiful new Kai, The Grotto wins this award by a landslide. The food is affordable and served fast, perfect for sit-down dinner or a quickie business lunch. The best thing is the diversity of the menu—and everything is equally delicious.

What’s Next: Five Spice China Grill
We don’t see a whole lot happening at the old Ocean Zen location on South Glenstone (pictured at right), where the brothers John and Johnson Tan have promised their new P.F. Chang’s-but-better fusion-style restaurant. That’s okay. We’d sit on the cash cow that is Ocean Zen for a while, too. Eventually, however, Five
Spice will open and the public will go crazy. All hail your Tan Brother overlords!
